A teenager committed suicide by jumping in front of a train near the Ratmalana train station. Police stated that the victim was an 18-year-old girl.
The teenage victim was a resident of the Lunawa area of Moratuwa, police reported.
The Mount-Lavinia police are conducting further inquiries into the incident.
