VIDEO: Mangala informs parliament of threats on his life

UNP MP Mangala Samaraweera made a special statement in parliament today (October 24) claiming that there was a threat on his life.
He said that he had informed the Inspector General of Police regarding the threat and wished to also inform the parliament.
Samaraweera also stated that the forces that are attempting to assassinate him may attempt to do so close to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting dates in order to discredit the government.
The Speaker of parliament, Chamal Rajapaksa directed the IGP to provide equal security for all the members of parliament.
