At least ten people including a student were injured after a bus veered off the road and crashed into a tree in Katiyawa, Eppawala.
Police said the driver of the bus, transporting a group from Kurunegala to Anuradhapura on an outing, had lost control resulting in the accident.
The wounded have been admitted to the Eppawala Hospital for treatment.
