The purpose of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) is to bring us closer as a family and to move us forward together, Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Kamalesh Sharma stated.
Addressing the commonwealth delegations at the opening ceremony of CHOGM 2013 a a short while ago, Sharma stated that the commonwealth was about bridging the divide between its member nations.
Speaking to the gathering, he claimed that the commonwealth illustrates for the rest of the world that it closes the distance between them.
