The body of a 33-year-old woman, who had been reported missing since Sunday, has been discovered in the Punewa area in Medawachchiya, police said.
The relatives of the woman had filed a complaint with the police on Sunday (Nov. 24) saying she had disappeared.
The woman’s body has been discovered, however the cause of death is yet to be determined.
