The Chairman of the Delft Pradeshiya Sabha, Daniel Rexian was shot and killed by an unknown group, the Police Spokesman stated.
His body was found this afternoon (November 27) in his home in Punkudutivu, police spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana stated.
The PS Chairman was a member of the EDPD party while police claim that an investigation is under way regarding the murder.
