Ven. Balangoda Kassapa Thero hospitalised during Satyagraha
Venerable Balangoda Kassapa Thero, who was participating in a Satyagraha campaign at the Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo demanding the release of Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero, has reportedly been hospitalised.
Ven. Balangoda Kassapa Thero was reportedly admitted to hospital due to a sudden health problem amid a tense situation that arose during the Satyagraha.
A tense situation has reportedly also developed between the police and the protesters at the site.
The protesters had subsequently arranged for Venerable Kassapa Thero to be taken to hospital in a 'Suwa Seriya' ambulance.
