Mora Film Awards was held yesterday (7th), under the patronage of veteran director Asoka Handagama and dazzling actress Pooja Umashankar at University of Moratuwa.
The glamorous evening, organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering was also graced by the Head of Department Lt. Col. Dr. Chandana Gamage, Video Production Lecturer Arct. Ravin Gunaratne, Prof. Gihan Dias, Dr. Chathura De Silva, Dr. Rapti De Silva and other distinguished invitees.
House full of undergraduates witnessed the premiere of four documentary films directed and produced by CSE students.
“Tears of Blood” by Mokanarangan Thayaparan, Pubudu Dodangoda, Nuwan Wajirasena and Danushka Madushanka was recognized with the Best Overall Production Award.
