Appeals Court case against Dilith Jayaweera and several others to be taken up in November

A case relating to a reference made by the Colombo Fort Magistrate to the Court of Appeal over alleged contempt of court by Parliamentarian Dilith Jayaweera, former Minister Wimal Weerawansa, Udaya Gammanpila, Mahinda Pathirana, Asanka Navarathne and Sugeeshwara Bandara was taken up again today (23).

The three-judge bench of the Court of Appeal, presided over by its President Justice Rohantha Abeysooriya, ordered that the case be taken up on November 11, 12 and 13, Ada Derana reporter said.
