The satyagraha launched by a group of Buddhist monks at Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo, demanding the release of the imprisoned Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero, enters its ninth day today (24).
The monks commenced the protest on October 16, and the group, including the participating monks, has remained at the site continuously since the commencement of the satyagraha.
