
The Government Radiological Technologists’ Association has launched a token strike this morning based on several demands, including the suspension of enrolling students for the Radiology Diploma course.
Vice Chairman of the Government Radiological Technologists’ Association, Chanaka Dharmawickrama stated that the strike was launched at 8.00am today and that all X-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) will be halted.
The strike is also expected to affect the cancer hospital.
