Six arrested over assault on bus driver and conductor in Kalutara
Six individuals have been arrested by Kalutara North Police in connection with the assault on the driver and conductor of a luxury bus after being intercepted by individuals travelling on motorcycles in the Nagas Junction area along the Kalutara-Colombo main road.
Two motorcycles allegedly used by the suspects during the assault have also been taken into police custody.
The arrested suspects are residents of Wadduwa and Moronthuduwa.
The suspects are scheduled to be produced before the Kalutara Magistrate’s Court.
Kalutara North Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
