The Colombo High Court has ordered that the further examination of evidence in the case filed by the Attorney General against Yoshitha Rajapaksa under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act be held on November 12.

The case was taken up today (30) before Colombo High Court Judge Udesh Ranatunga, said Ada Derana reporter.

The recording of evidence took place today, following which the court ordered that the further examination of evidence be postponed until November 12.

The Attorney General has filed the case against Yoshitha Rajapaksa, alleging that he committed an offence under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act by purchasing five plots of land in the Dehiwala and Ratmalana areas for a sum exceeding Rs. 73 million.
