The final rites of late veteran left-wing political activist and senior lawyer Lal Wijenayake, an Executive Committee member of the National People's Power (NPP), are scheduled to be held this afternoon (02).
The funeral will take place at the Mahaiyawa Public Crematorium in Kandy.
Wijenayake passed away on October 31 at the age of 85.
