The body of a missing Police Constable (PC), attached to the Aralaganwila Police Station, has been recovered from the Maduru Oya’s Z-D canal in the Sevanapitiya area this morning, police said.
The police officer in question had been reported missing 2 days ago while his motorcycle was found near the Z-D canal.
His body was recovered following a search operation carried out by a team of divers.
