Imbulpe PS budget defeated by seven votes

The budget for the UPFA-controlled Imbulpe Pradeshiya Sabha was also defeated by seven votes today (December 19).
Imbulpe became the ninth UPFA-controlled PS to have its budget defeated twice while several UPFA members also voted against the budget.
Only two members voted in favour of the budget while 9 voted against it. One member was not present for the vote while another member had removed himself from the council during the vote.
The Imbuple PS consists of 14 members.
