The Indian journalist who was arrested in Sri Lanka on charges of filming a military installation in Kilinochchi without permission was deported from the country.
The journalist was sent back to India today (December 28) after the Colombo Fort Magistrate court ordered his deportation.
The Police Media Spokesman’s office stated that the journalist was boarded on to flight UL123 back to India at 6pm.
