A Sri Lankan national was today arrested in Rameswaram for alleged illegal stay in the country and possessing US currency, police said.
Aboorvanathan was spotted near a TASMAC liquor shop by police Inspector Pon Muniyandi, on a routine patrol, who enquired him on suspicion.
He was found carrying over 800 USD without any travel and other necessary document. - PTI
