A person was arrested in the Dikoya town in Hatton while being in possession of forged currency at a state bank, police stated.
The 42 year old resident of Hatton was in possession of a forged Rs.500 note, police reported.
The suspect was presented to the Hatton Magistrate Court and subsequently released on a Rs.10,000 personal bail while the Hatton police are conducting further inquiries.
