The Kandy–Mahiyangana main road has been blocked due to a fallen rock near the 3rd bend on the 18-Bend road this morning, police said.
Police spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said an earth slip near the road between Ududumbara and Hasalaka had caused the rock to fall and that heavy vehicles are unable to pass through due to this.
