Fishermen from Myanmar who were left stranded mid-sea after their boat was caught in a storm have been rescued by a group of Sri Lankan fishermen and handed over to the navy.
The three Myanmar nationals were reportedly rescued last evening and have been handed over to police by Sri Lanka Navy.
They are currently receiving treatment at the Trincomalee Hospital.
Trincomalee Police are conducting further investigations.
