PC polls: Postal voting on March 13 & 14

Postal voting for the forthcoming Western and Southern Provincial Council election will be held on March 13 and 14, the Department of Elections said today.
The department said that the acceptance of application for postal voting will end on Monday (Feb. 10).
It also said that voters who are unable to cast their postal votes on March 13 or 14 will be provided with an opportunity to do so at their respective District Secretariats on March 20.
Polling cards are to be handed over to post offices on March 04 while March 16 has been named as a special day for the distribution of polling cards.
The distribution of polling cards is expected to be completed before March 21, the Elections Department said.
