Youth assaulted by Rajarata uni students

A twenty-year-old youth from Ambathalawa in Mihintale has been hospitalized after he was allegedly assaulted by a group of students of the Rajarata University.
The assault had taken place at around 11.00pm last night on a road near the university, according to the complaint filed by the victim.
He had been admitted to the Mihintale Hospital after lodging the complaint with police.
The attack had been carried out following an argument between the group of students and the youth in question, Mihintale Police said.
After information regarding the incident had spread a group of residents from the area had reportedly assaulted several students engaged in a Satyagraha near the university.
