A foreigner has been arrested by the Kandy Police crimes unit for the possession of marijuana.
The Hong Kong woman had visited the Kandy Police Station yesterday to lodge a complaint when police officers had searched her based on a suspicion.
They had found four rolled marijuana cigarettes in her possession.
The arrested woman is to be produced before the Kandy Magistrate today.
