Weapons haul found in Trincomalee

A weapons haul was recovered in the Trincomalee area last evening (February 25) in the Murugapuri area, the Army Spokesman Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasooriya stated.
Authorities recovered five T-56 weapons, one light machine gun, two rifles, 16 T-56 magazines and three machine gun magazines.
Security forces found the stock of weapons at around 5.45pm last evening following a raid.
The weapons haul was reported to have been buried in the Murugapuri area.
