Police have begun investigations into a suspect who had allegedly forcibly reclaimed a vehicle which he had sold using fake documents for Rs.3.5 million in Marawila.
A resident of the Lansigama area of Marawila had made a complaint to the police after the vehicle he had bought was stolen from a garage by the man who allegedly sold it to him using fake documentation.
After he had found out that the vehicle documents were fake, he had stored the car in a garage and had demanded his money back on several occasions.
The salesman had then forcibly taken the vehicle from his possession.
