14 injured after buses collide in Fort

At least fourteen passengers have been wounded following a collision between two buses near Ceramic Junction in Colombo Fort this morning, police said.
The injured persons have been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment while none of them are in critical condition, a spokesman for the hospital said.
Meanwhile in a separate incident 12 year old child died after being hit by a lorry while walking on the pavement near the Devinuwara fuel station in Gandara.
The child was critically injured in the incident and succumbed to injuries after being admitted to the Matara Hospital.
