A person was arrested for transporting 40kg of marijuana worth around Rs. 4 million in a luxury vehicle in the Ratnapura area.
The Ratnapura Anti-Corruption Unit made the arrest after receiving information about the suspect’s activities.
The vehicle used to transport the marijuana was also seized by police while the Ratnapura police are conducting further investigations.
