Two persons were arrested in possession of forged Sri Lankan currency in the Rideegama area, police stated.
The suspects had three forged Rs.1000 notes and a forged Rs.2000 note in their possession at the time of their arrest.
The two suspects were aged 40 and 49 years and were both residents of Panagamuwa.
They will be presented to the Rambadagalla Magistrate Court today (March 21).
