Pakistan rejects resolution, calls interferences unacceptable

Pakistan speaking at the UNHRC totally rejected country specific resolutions at the council. They also added that Sri Lanka is a proud democracy and interferences into its internal affairs are totally unacceptable.
The timeframe given for the investigation which is 2002-2009 does not cover the entire duration of the conflict, Pakistan added. They also claimed that this period excludes the atrocities committed by the LTTE.
This is about politics and not human rights, Pakistan claimed calling for the council to call to vote to remove the clause calling for an international investigation from the resolution.
