Senal Welgama ahead in Kalutara preference votes

Senal Welgama, the son of Transport Minister Kumara Welgama, has received the highest number of preference votes from the Kalutara District while Rohana Abeygunawardena, the brother of the Project Minister of Ports and Highways Rohitha Abeygunawardena, is second in the preference vote list.

Jagath Vithana has received the most preference votes from the UNP while popular actor Ravindra Yasas tops the Democratic Party’s preference vote list in the district.

JVP’s Nalinda Jayatissa has received 11,949 preference votes.

Rohana Abeygunawadena – 51,339
Yasapala Koralage – 42,395

Kalutara District (UNP):

Jagath Vithana – 29,920
I. Jemil – 24,576 
P.D. Abeyratne – 20,797

Kalutara District (DP):

Ravindra Yasas – 12,885
Anura Deepal – 12,569

Kalutara District (JVP):
