The National Water Supply and Drainage Board today announced that water cuts will be imposed in several areas including in parts of Colombo on Friday (April 4) and Saturday (5).
A 10-hour water cut from 10.00pm on Friday to 8.00am on Saturday will affect the following areas:
Nugegoda high-level road from Nugegoda Junction to Wijerama Junction, Pita Kotte, Ethul Kotte, Mirihana, Udahamulla, Wijerama, Pagoda, Nawala, Madiwela, Thalapathpitiya, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa and Kesbewa Urban Council area.
A 13-hour water cut from 9.00pm on Friday to 10.00am on Saturday will be imposed in the following area:
Mattakkuliya, Kotahena, Modara, Muthuwella, Madampitiya, Mahawatta, George R. De Silva Mawatha and Colombo Fort.
Meanwhile an 8-hour water cut from 9.00pm on Friday to 5.00am on Saturday will affect the following areas:
Hokandra, Arangala Junction to College Junction and all connected byroads, Wanaguru Mawatha, Malwatta, St. Catharine Watta, College Junction to Kalalgoda Road area.
