
Train services between Seeduwa and Katunayake on the Colombo-Chilaw main railway line will be temporarily suspended from 9.30pm today (April 5) to 4.30pm tomorrow due to urgent track repairs, the Department of Railways said.
Therefore trains traveling from Colombo Fort to Puttalam will only run up to Seeduwa while trains from Chilaw will be terminated at Negombo.
Sri Lanka Railways said that the Puttalam-bound train scheduled to leave Colombo Fort Railway Station at 4.00am tomorrow will be limited to the Seeduwa railway station while the 7.40am train will be cancelled.
The 9.30am train from Chilaw to Colombo will be terminated at Negombo tomorrow.
