Woman found murdered in her home in Homagama

A retired woman was found murdered in the bathroom of her home on the second lane Gabadawatta in Homagama, police stated.
The 68-year-old woman, who lives alone, was found with her throat slashed in her bathroom after police inspected the house this morning (April 11).
Police suspect that a group of robber may have committed the murder while ransacking the home.
The Homagama police are conducting further inquiries into the incident.
