Police have arrested five suspects for maintaining a marijuana cultivation within a coconut plantation in the Thanamalwila area today.
Acting on information received, Thanamalwila Police carried out the raid on the cultivation which was spread across around 2 acres of land.
Police are conducting further investigations into the arrested suspects, residents of Wellawaya and Thanamalwila.
