The Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) Organisation can topple governments or create governments in Sri Lanka if it wants, BBS General Secretary Galaboda Atte Gnanasara Thero said today. However, he assured that the organization has no intention of toppling the ruling Rajapaksa government.
Addressing a press conference in Colombo, the Thero stated that certain Ministers are alleging that the Bodu Bala Sena are conspiring against the country and challenged those ministers prove their conspiracy claims.
Gnanasara Thero further charged that several Muslim leaders including Minister Rauf Hakeem have intimidates the Muslim brotherhood and that they are clashing with the Bodu Bala Sena organization in order to look like heroes in front of the Muslim people.
He also alleged that Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara is talking about national unity while “his wife” is traveling to Geneva and making statements that there is no unity is Sri Lanka.
