Two persons have died while another two have been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Wathupitiwala Hospital, due to suddenly falling ill after consuming alcohol at a party in Meerigma last night.
The bottle of alcohol consumed by the victims has been taken to the hospital for test while doctors are looking into the possibility that the deaths had been caused by alcohol poisoning, hospital sources said.
