UPDATE: 9-hour water cut in several areas

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that a water cut will be imposed from 8.00am to 5.00pm on Tuesday (May 6) in several area around Colombo the laying of water lines under the Metro Colombo Urban Development Project.
The water cut will be imposed in Nugegoda, High Level Road from Nugegoda to Wijerama, Nawala, Boralesgamuwa, Maharagama, Pita Kotte, Ethul Kotte, Mirihana, Udahamulla, Wijerama, Pagoda, Madiwela, Thalapathpitiya and Kesbewa municipal council areas.
Meanwhile the Water Board said that the water supply to Dickman’s Road in Colombo and all connected byroads will be suspended from 9.00pm on Tuesday (May 6) to 6.00am the following day.
