
Regardless of what position one holds in the medical sector if they engage in strike actions they will be born as patients in the next life, Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena said today. He added that the as the socio-political atmosphere in the world has changed, the health sector and its unions need to adapt and change.
The minister made these comments at a ceremony to enlist 2,500 new nurses for training. He requested the new nurses to always be humanitarian in their approach to work in future.
