At least 12 women have been injured and hospitalised after a group of individuals engaged in cultivations in the Passaramulla area in Balangoda were attacked by a swarm of wasps today.
Twelve women were rushed to the Balangoda Hospital following the wasp attack, however a spokesman for the hospital said that none of the victims are in critical condition.
