Student dead, 4 injured in accident near school in Kandana

One student was killed while another 4 students were wounded following an accident in the car park of a leading school in Kandana today, the spokesman for the Ragama Hospital said.
The deceased, an 8-year-old boy, reportedly died after getting stuck between a parked vehicle and a van.
The other four injured students have been admitted to the Ragama Hospital for treatment, hospital director UMM Samaranayake said.
Kandana Police are further investigating the incident.
