Train services back to normal as floods subside

Train services on the main and northern railway lines have returned to normal as floods around the Ragama Railway Station have subsided, the Railway Control Room said.

Train services on the main and Northern line were temporarily suspended earlier today as the Ragama station was flooded.

Meanwhile the death toll from incidents caused by the prevailing weather conditions has risen to 12 while one persons is reportedly missing.
