The arrest of Tamil Nadu fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy has revealed the true face of Mahinda Rajapaksa, just two weeks after the Sri Lankan President attended the swearing-in of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister, the former Union Minister, G.K. Vasan.
Talking to journalists on Sunday, he said the Indian government had to find a permanent solution to the problems faced by fishermen.
Since the Congress, with its presence nationwide, had a better understanding of issues, it could not be isolated by the three regional parties: the AIADMK, the Trinamool Congress and the Biju Janata Dal, he was qouted as saying by The Hindu
