Three night mail trains on Northern line cancelled

Three night mail trains on the Northern railway line have been canceled due to a derailment at Girambe in Pothuhera this morning, the Railway Control Room said.
The Colombo-Batticaloa train which was scheduled to leave the Fort Railway Station at 7.15pm, the Colombo-Palai train which was scheduled to leave at 8.15pm and the train to Batticaloa and Trincomalee which was to leave at 9.00pm today have been cancelled.
Meanwhile train arriving from Batticaloa and Palai have been limited to Polgahawela, the railway control room said.
