I have no affiliation with the Bodu Bala Sena(BBS) and I have never assisted them, Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa said in an exclusive statement to Ada Derana today. He added that those with narrow political motives try to insinuate that he is behind every problem that surfaces between groups.

 

There are certain groups who are trying to create chaos in Sri Lanka at a time the country is facing questions about human rights at the UNHRC, Rajapaksa said. I have tirelessly worked toward bringing peace to Sri Lanka and will not stand idle while people try to disrupt that peace, he claimed.
