
Sri Lanka Navy arrested 20 Indian fishermen for violating the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) and poaching in Sri Lankan waters.
Naval Craft attached to the North Central Naval Command on routine patrol arrested the Indian fishermen and 4 fishing trawlers in seas North of Mannar last night.
The arrested fishermen and the trawlers were handed over to the officials of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Mannar for legal action, the navy media unit said.
