AUDIO: TNA disappointed over shunning by Aussie Minister

TNA today expressed extreme disappointed over the fact that Australia’s Immigration Minister Scott Morrison who visited Jaffna did not show any interest of meeting with any Tamil party. We will write to the Australian government and the Australian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka conveying our objection, General Secretary of the TNA Mavai Senathirajah told Ada Derana.
Morrison only met the Governor of the Northern Province who is a former military general and appointee of the Sri Lankan government.
Though there is an elected Chief Minister and a board of Ministers for the Northern Province the Governor appointed by the President is running the whole show, Premachandra told ABC regarding the issue.
