Fire breaks out at four-storey building in Negombo

A fire which broke in a four-storey building in front of the Negombo Bus Stand has been extinguished by the Negombo Municipal Council fire brigade with assistance from police.
The fire which broke out due to a suspected electrical short had caused damages to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the building, housing a computer training center, police said.
No casualties have been reported from the fire while the damages caused by it is yet to be estimated.
