Sri Lanka batsman Kumar Sangakkara scored his 10th double hundred in the 1st Test match against Pakistan played at the Galle International Cricket Stadium a short while ago.
The former Sri Lanka skipper is second only to the legendary Don Bradman, who is ahead of him with 12 scores of 200+ now.
It was his 3rd double ton against Pakistan, to go with an unbeaten 199, while only Virender Sehwag has made three 200+ scores against Pakistan in Tests.
Sri Lanka are currently 475/7 and lead Pakistan by 24 runs with 3 wickets remaining in the 1st innings.
Earlier, Sangakkara equaled Don Bradman for 18 scores of 150-plus as he continued to torment the visitors alongside skipper Angelo Mathews (91), who fell just before tea for the fifth time in the nineties.
Pakistan dropped Sangakkara first ball in the morning off Junaid Khan, and then on 168 off Saeed Ajmal.
