A suspect has been arrested for the possession of counterfeit currency notes in the Galewela town this morning, police said.
Three fake notes of the Rs 1,000 denomination were found in the possession of the 21-year-old suspect, a resident of Siyambalanduwa.
Galewela Police are conducting further investigations.
